FELA point of sale systems can be also be used as on-board computers (in addition to their main role as ticketing systems) and so supply data to the passenger information system. These are recorded in the point-of-sale system and transmitted to any connected systems. The EasyDriveMobile software module supplies the data from the point of sale systems to the backend, where they are available via the interface to the POISmobile software module for further processing in other functions, e.g. the passenger information. The FELA software modules EasyDriveMobile and POISmobile therefore merge into a networked system. The modularity and the numerous configuration options of the FELA ticketing and passenger information systems enable the adaptation of the system to the needs of the transport company.
